The history of TaikaTilaus dates back to the start of the 21st century, when the first subscription management solution was implemented. Until 2021, TaikaTilaus was a part of eTaika Ltd. During the corporate restructuring, in which eTaika Oy became part of the Visma Group, TaikaTilaus broke off into its own company, marking the beginning of TaikaTilaus' new independent future. It was the beginning of a period of growth and renewal, which is still going strong.

Subscription management is digitalised
TaikaTilauksen history dates back to 2009, when Mika Ryynänen began developing the subscription management system for Kustannus Ltd. Juoksija as part of its online services.
The new TaikaTilaus is born
TaikaTilaus in its current form began in 2019-2020. The TaikaTilaus software was rebuilt as an independent product, encompassing solutions for customer management, subscription management, and advertising management.
TaikaTilaus Ltd. is born
TaikaTilaus Ltd. started as an independent company focused on the media sector in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
TaikaTilaus participated in the Suuret Suomalaiset Lehtipäivät (Great Finnish Newspaper Days)
November 10-11, 2022. This was TaikaTilaus Oy's first time at the event, with a strong focus on marketing and communications. The feedback received was excellent, and customer interest in TaikaTilaus' services was further strengthened.
Era of rapid developement
TaikaTilaus' functionalities expand to meet the needs of the media industry nationwide. This includes the creation of advertising management, deep integrations with distribution, versatile payment services, and self-service solutions.
TaikaTilaus developes new services to support its clients' business operations.
In 2023, a new Self-Service Portal was introduced for subscriber clients. This offered many new business opportunities for TaikaTilaus's clients, supporting their operations and strengthening subscriber relationships with the media. Additionally, clients could now offer subscribers a new monthly payment option, Stripe.

A Bold Innovator in the Media Industry
In 2026, TaikaTilaus has grown to become the software partner of choice for nearly 30 clients. TaikaTilaus Ltd. continues its strong growth, focusing on further developing the TaikaTilaus software in collaboration with its clients. We are particularly enhancing services that allow our clients to deepen their relationships with subscribers and solutions that support them in generating additional revenue. One key service in this regard is Advertising portal, which facilitates the planning and execution of classified ads.
